On July 7, 2011, there was a believer who attended the evening service prayer. During the prayer, the Holy Spirit revealed the following: "Humility is key. Patience with humility merits value. But patience without humility will cause anger and bitterness, which renders no value whatsoever." God examines our every deed and word, motive and intentions. When we don't submit to the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, lose our temper, and fight with others, God will not be pleased.

On October, 2011, another believer was in the middle of praying for a preacher. The Holy Spirit revealed the following message: "A servant of God who is diligent in fulfilling his duties as a preacher will naturally carry a more strenuous load. Paul was the same."

Those preachers who work faithfully and diligently for the Lord to fulfill their duties, will not pass through life easily.  It will be inevitable that they will encounter many challenges and toils. Therefore, do not be concerned about how hard is the work or how much is the suffering. When offering ourselves to be used by the Lord, we must regard everything as worthless compared to the surpassing value of serving Christ. We must be continually be mindful of God's business, seeking to completely surrender ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ as our utmost goal.  When encountering difficult trials, do not ask why.  Only ask God for more faith, patience, and love to meet these trials. Then simply obey and execute whatever Lord Jesus commands.

This type of life of enduring faith must persevere to the end to be of value. If we allow ourselves to be provoked, we will find ourselves unable to endure and even blow up, yelling loudly. Such emotional outbursts will ruin whatever spiritual cultivation efforts we have built up, thus falling far short of the standards God expected us to meet.

The type of person that God favors is a peaceful and quiet person. On November 4, 2004, a sister saw a vision that God was healing sick patients. Lord Jesus said to her: "The type of servant that God wants to use is a peaceful and quiet person. God favors this type of people. When any labor of work is done, the servant should keep quiet. There's no need to publicize the good deeds to others. Only provide proper answers if someone asks. It is best for a worker of God to keep quiet."

It is difficult to keep quiet or a low profile if we have not first learned patience and humility. The Lord Jesus said: "You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved" (Mt 10:22).  Our ultimate goal in life is to go to heaven to enjoy eternal blessings. God particularly emphasizes for us to imitate him, which is to have a gentle and lowly heart. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls" (Mt 11:29). Lord Jesus stated this not without reason.  If we can reach this goal of spiritual cultivation, then we will attain inner peace. Everything that we do for the Lord and the spiritual training of disciplining and beating our body as referred in 1 Corinthians 9:16-27 will then not be done in vain. Our faith in God will not result in vain.
