In the morning prayer before dawn, the Holy Spirit inspired:
"Before praying, first contemplate what the content of your prayer will be. Make sure there is rich content. Don't just rush headlong into prayer without even thinking through what you're going to be praying about. Such type of prayer, even long prayers, will not be effective because you do not even have any idea what you are praying about. At the end of your prayer, conclude with the Lord's Prayer. In this way, whatever you may have overlooked in your prayer will be supplemented by the Lord's Prayer because the Lord's Prayer contains all that should be said."
Lord Jesus therefore said, this is the manner in which you ought to pray:
Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
(Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV)
Before praying, cleanse and purify yourself. Do not do anything unclean or impure. If your thoughts are not clean and your deeds are detestable in God’s sight, why pray at all? If you do not respect and honor God, you will incur the wrath of God. Therefore, before prayer, one must have a sincere heart of repentance and a contrite heart that seeks to drawer closer to God.
